Canadian Solar enables a leading plastics company to build on its strategy of continuous improvement.

Rooftop installations at B&R Plastics, a subsidiary of Continental, have enabled the company to reduce energy consumption and costs. The systems were set up by Todae Solar using CS6P-P 250 W Canadian Solar PV modules. Todae Solar is an award winning and industry-leading installer of commercial & business solar with an impressive portfolio and an unwavering commitment to quality. The company has built solar power systems in thousands of locations totalling over 2.2 MW’s for businesses around Australia. The B&R installations will supply 129 MWh for the first year with a guaranteed 80% power output of the PV panels over 25 years.

"At Continental we are committed to reducing our energy consumption and to improving our energy efficiency with a systematic and continuous improvement process. Installation of a 100 kW solar PV system was one of our continuous improvement initiatives to reduce our energy consumption. After an extensive process we engaged Canadian Solar to partner with us on this project. We were pleased to be able to deal with an international company with strong experience in solar installation. Additionally, our system is enhanced with access to real time data on its performance. Once engaged, Canadian Solar provided an efficient and professional service and we would be happy to use them again," said Angie Angelovski, Plant Manager & CEO.
